Before you start: the 3 rules that decide your Biology score
- NCERT is the syllabus. ~85–90% of NEET Biology questions come line-by-line from NCERT Class 11 & 12. Read every line, including examples, tables and diagrams. Reference books are for practice, not for learning.
- Active recall beats re-reading. After each chapter, immediately test yourself. You do not know a chapter until you can answer questions on it without looking. Every chapter below links to a free quiz — use it the same day you read the chapter.
- Revision is not optional. Biology is a memory subject. A chapter read once and never revised is a chapter lost. The plan builds in weekly and phase-end revision on purpose.
Phase 1 — Days 1–35: Build the foundation (Class 11)
Class 11 Biology is conceptual and builds the base for genetics, physiology and ecology. Cover it first, one unit at a time. Target roughly one chapter every 1–2 days, and take the linked quiz the same day.
Weekly rhythm: 5 days new chapters, 1 day quizzes + note-making, 1 day revising that week's chapters.
Prioritise the physiology chapters (Digestion, Breathing, Circulation, Excretion, Neural & Chemical control) — they are extremely high-yield and repeat every year.

Phase 2 — Days 36–70: The high-yield core (Class 12)
Class 12 is where NEET Biology is won. Genetics, Human Reproduction, Biotechnology and Ecology together contribute a huge share of questions every year. Slow down here — these chapters are dense and reward deep reading.
Highest-yield chapters (do not leave any of these): Principles of Inheritance and Variation, Molecular Basis of Inheritance, Human Reproduction, Human Health and Disease, Biotechnology, and the full Ecology unit. Aim to master, not just finish.
Keep taking the chapter quiz the same day, and re-quiz any chapter you scored below 70% on before moving forward.

Phase 3 — Days 71–90: Revision, weak spots & test practice
No new chapters. This phase converts everything you have learned into marks.
- Days 71–82: Two full revision passes of NCERT, fastest first. Re-quiz every chapter; make a one-line list of every fact you get wrong — that list is your final-week gold.
- Days 83–90: Full-length timed practice. Attempt Biology sections under exam conditions, then review every wrong answer and trace it back to the exact NCERT line.
- Daily: revise your "facts I got wrong" list and the high-yield chapters (Genetics, Human Physiology, Ecology, Biotech).
The goal of the last 20 days is not to learn new things — it is to stop losing marks on things you already know.
